Of Clichés and Fairy Tales

Everything happens for a reason. Someday it will all make sense. Live well, laugh often. God is great. We hear them all the time. Literally, how often does a day go by without the sound ofsome cliché reverberating through some random conversation? They're everywhere and they plague us like fruit flies on a banana whenever we don't want to hear them. Ironically enough, that seems to be when we need them the most.

So, do a little exercise for me. Next time you're feeling down, or out, or low... Open your heart and mind to the truth in those clichés that we so often take for granted.

Think of your favorite fairy tale... they all have that moment when it seems like hope is lost and their world is crashing down around them... and remember the victorious moment that follows.

We will all have our victory as long as we hold on to the things we believe in and don't lose hope.

So believe in fairy tales. Use clichés. Life is too short to spend your time in the dumps of your soul and imagination. Just breathe and have hope. There's always hope. Read a fairy tale if you don't believe me.
